The Union on Eighth

Transformed from a blacksmith shop, to an Oldsmobile dealership, to a transmission shop, the historic Union on Eighth is a reclaimed 6,000 square foot event space set just north of downtown Austin. For the branding of this reclaimed venue, Yuling was inspired by natural textures, patterns, and colors, gracefully blending the Union’s humble roots with a distinct, graphic vibe. These materials exhibit Yuling’s thoughtful use of details and patterns to add visual interest, as well as her finesse for mixing and matching different typography.
