Changing Futures

Inspired by the art deco, pop art, and futuristic movements, the design for this year’s Avail NYC Annual Benefit is striking, boldly colorful, and geometric. The jigsaw of overt graphic shapes mimic the energy and skyline of New York City and represent the community of committed people that come together to help Avail NYC make a difference. Bright and contrasting colors add warmth to the industrial and open penthouse space.

Avail NYC’s mission is to empower New Yorkers facing an unintended pregnancy or past abortion with critical support and resources to inform their decisions, build healthy relationships, and promote healing. The annual spring Benefit invites the Avail community to celebrate the futures changed, partner with them in making a difference, and volunteer with other supporters at their main Times Square office. The evening’s festivities included a cocktail hour, a silent auction, dinner, an award presentation, testimonies, a spirited live auction, and a late night roof-top after party.

This year’s Avail Legacy Award was presented to Susanne Metaxas, Avail NYC’s President, honoring her twelve years of faithful service empowering women, men, and children in New York City.
